In the third phase, teachers will be recruited on about 87 thousand posts through Bihar Public Service Commission. This will include posts of primary to higher secondary teachers.
The Education Department will soon send the list of subject and class wise posts to the Commission. The preparation for calculation of posts by the department is in the final stage. The posts left vacant in the first and second phase will also be added to it. In 87 thousand vacancies, there will be vacancies for teachers of classes one to five (primary), six to eight (middle), ninth to tenth (secondary) and classes eleventh to twelfth (higher secondary).
This time vacancies will be released for schools under Education Department and SC-ST Welfare Department. Appearing candidates will not be given a chance in this. Only those candidates who have already passed STET, CTET, CTET can apply.

According to media reports, there will be recruitment on more than 78000 posts in Bihar through the new teacher recruitment examination. This is an approximate figure. Actually, on the basis of seats left vacant in the first and second phase of Bihar teacher recruitment, there can be recruitment on 78000 posts.
However, the number of seats may also increase. Earlier, notification was issued for recruitment on 1 lakh 70 thousand posts under BPSC TRE 1 and 1 lakh 22 thousand posts in the second phase. Bihar teacher recruitment examination was the most discussed in the year 2023.
Recruitment of teachers in Bihar
BPSC Chairman Atul Prasad has shared important information regarding the upcoming recruitment. He told that the application process for the third phase of teacher recruitment in Bihar will start from February 10. Candidates wishing to register in this will be given the opportunity to apply till 23 February 2024. To apply for this, one has to go to the official website bpsc.bih.nic.in and onlinebpsc.bihar.gov.in.
When will the exam be held?
Candidates who have applied for the third phase of Bihar teacher recruitment should start preparing for the exam from now on. According to the information given by BPSC, BPSC TRE 3.0 exam can be conducted in the month of March. The date for the examination was fixed from March 7, 2024 to March 17, 2024.
The result for this examination may also be released in March itself. According to the given information, the result of Bihar teacher recruitment third phase can be declared from 22 March to 24 March 2024. After this the counseling process will be completed. Like the previous record, the district allotment list can be released along with the results.
Change in exam pattern
BPSC Chairman said that there will be only one paper in the third phase of teacher recruitment examination. This exam will be of 2:30 hours. There will be no negative marking in this. There will be a language test in Part-I. Part-2 will be on general studies and part-3 will be on related subjects. Part- One will be a qualifying subject.
In this, 30 questions of 30 marks will be asked. There will be 40 questions in General Studies and each question will have one mark for the correct answer i.e. a total of 40 marks. Whereas, 80 questions of 80 marks will be asked from the subject in which you will become a teacher.
