Speaking to Radio Nasha, Sayani Gupta said that the need for intimacy coordinators on film sets needs to be highlighted now. She said that once an actor continued kissing her even after the director said cut. The actress called it indecent and refused to name the actor and the project. The actress further said that while working for Margarita with a Straw in 2013, it was easy for her to film intimate scenes because of her technical skills. The actress further said that despite this, many times people try to take advantage of it.

During this conversation, the actress shared the memories of the shooting of her film ‘Four More Shots Please’ and said that she was feeling uncomfortable on its set. The actress said, “I was feeling very insecure at that time, because about 70 people were standing in front of me.”

The actress further said that better security arrangements should be made for women on the set. She told that once during the shooting she wanted someone to stand next to her with a shawl, but it did not happen. The actress said, “Many times it happens that we shoot in such a hurry that one’s safety is not even the last thing on anyone’s mind. Sometimes your limits get compromised, which is a common mindset, which needs to be expanded.”
