Patna: Metro work is going on at a very fast pace in Patna, the capital of Bihar. It is expected that the metro work will be completed by 2027. A total of 26 metro stations are being constructed in the first phase, out of which 13 will be underground and 13 will be elevated metro stations. Two corridors are being built under Phase-1. The first corridor will go from Danapur to Kheminchak, whose length will be about 18 kilometers.

Patna Metro will run first on this route

New ISBT – Zero Mile – Bhootnath – Khemnichak – Malahi Pakdi (all stations elevated) – Rajendranagar – Moinulhaq Stadium – University – PMCH – Gandhi Maidan – Akashvani – Patna Station (all stations underground).

The approximately one and a half kilometer long double tunnel of the metro from Moinulhaq Stadium to Patna University is being excavated through two tunnel boring machines. In this, one tunnel has been dug for about 1100 meters while the other tunnel has been dug for about 750 meters. According to Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) officials, the digging of the tunnel up to Patna University is likely to be completed by March-April this year.

Last year, it was decided to build new metro routes in Noida to provide facilities to the people of Noida and to increase connectivity between Delhi-Noida. Which will be ready between Botanical Garden Metro Station and Sector-142. For this, the detailed project report was approved by Noida Metro Rail Corporation.

A total of 8 metro stations will be built on this metro line and the estimated length of the entire metro route is 11.56 kilometers. Last year, the detailed project report of the new metro route was prepared by Delhi Metro Rail Corporation and Noida Metro Rail Corporation has also approved this DPR.
