FASTag KYC: The last date for updating KYC for Fastag has been extended by the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI). According to the latest update, now all vehicle drivers can complete the KYC process till 29th February.
Let us tell you, earlier the last date to complete KYC was 31 January. If you do not complete the Fastag KYC on time, your Fastag will stop working and the outstanding balance may also get stuck.
‘One Vehicle One Fastag’ campaign launched
‘One Vehicle One Fastag’ campaign has also been started by NHAI. The reason for this is that every driver should have only one Fastag. For this reason, all vehicle drivers are being asked by the authority to complete KYC. As soon as you complete the KYC of Fastag. Will be connected to ‘One Vehicle One Fastag’ system.

How to do FASTag KYC?
To update KYC of Fastag, follow the steps given below.
- First of all go to the official website of Fastag.
- Now you have to enter your mobile number and log in through OTP.
- After this go to ‘My Profile’ section.
- Now you have to click on the KYC tab. Enter all the information requested here.
- Now your KYC is complete.
Documents required for FASTag KYC
- Registration certificate of your vehicle
- ID like Aadhaar, Voter Card
- Address proof
- passport size photo
How to check FASTag KYC status?
- For this you will have to go to Fastag’s website.
- Now enter the registered mobile number and log in through OTP.
- After this go to my profile section. Here you will see the KYC status of your Fastag.
