Bharatiya Janata Party has alleged that during the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra, Rahul Gandhi picked up a biscuit from a dog’s plate and gave it to the Congress leader. BJP’s IT cell chief Amit Malviya has also made such a claim while sharing its video on social media.
Amit Malviya wrote in the post shared with the video, ‘Just a few days ago, Congress President Kharge ji compared the party’s booth agents to dogs and here Rahul Gandhi is feeding biscuits to a dog and when the dog did not eat, He gave the same biscuit to the worker. It is natural for a party whose president and crown prince treats his party workers like dogs to disappear. Amar Ujala does not verify this video.

Himanta Biswa Sarma responded.
BJP leader Pallavi CT also targeted Rahul Gandhi over the video. He wrote in a post shared on social media, ‘Now the prince gave the biscuits rejected by the dog to a party worker. He respects party workers, supporters and voters so much. Pallavi CT also remembered the day when Rahul Gandhi had offered biscuits to Himanta Biswa Sarma in the same plate in which his pet dog used to eat.
Responding to Pallavi’s post, Assam CM wrote, ‘Not only Rahul Gandhi but the entire Gandhi family could not feed me that biscuit. I am a proud Assamese and Indian. I refused to eat biscuits and resigned from Congress.
Under the leadership of Rahul Gandhi, Congress is taking out Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra. This journey started from Imphal, the capital of Manipur on 14 January. At present this yatra is in Jharkhand and will go to Chhattisgarh in the next few days. The video being shared by BJP leaders is also being said to be of Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra.
