IPPB: Now no OTP or fingerprint is required for banking. India Post Payments Bank has started Aadhaar based face authentication which will allow transactions to be done just by facial recognition. This facility will prove to be very beneficial for the elderly, the disabled and in times of emergency.

India Post Payments Bank (IPPB) has started a new facility in which you will be able to do banking transactions only by face recognition. That is, now your smile has become the password.
This facility has been prepared under the system of Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI). In this, customers will be able to do Aadhaar authentication through their face recognition, which will also reduce the possibility of fraud.
Big relief to the elderly and disabled
This facility is like a boon for the elderly, disabled and those whose fingerprints have been erased. They will not have to go through the hassle of putting fingerprints or OTP again and again. Just show your face in front of the camera and the work will be done.
Also beneficial in health emergency
If someone is ill, or there is a situation where physical contact is not possible, this face authentication technology will prove to be very useful. This facility is opening a new way of safe banking.
