Gold Silver Price Today: There was a slight slowdown in the prices of gold in the domestic market today. The reason behind this is the reduction in tariff related concerns, Fed rate cut expectations and low demand in the spot gold market. On the last day of trading i.e. Friday, gold with expiry of August 5 opened at the level of 97320 on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), while at 10:43 am it was trading at Rs 97640 per 10 grams with an increase of Rs 167 or 0.17 percent. At the same time, yesterday i.e. on Thursday, it closed at a price of Rs 97473 per 10 grams.
Silver prices also rise
Talking about silver, the most demanded metal after gold, on Friday, silver with September 5 expiry opened for trading at Rs 112529 per kg on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), while at 10:43 am, it was trading at Rs 112828 with a rise of Rs 494 or 0.44 percent. On the other hand, on Thursday it closed at Rs 112334 per kg.
