The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for rain in entire Bihar today. It said that there are chances of rain and thunderstorms with strong winds in all 38 districts of Bihar today. In view of the bad weather, the Meteorological Department has appealed to the people to be cautious.
Heavy rain in entire Bihar till 23 June
According to Patna Meteorological Center, there is a possibility of heavy rain in entire Bihar on 20 June and 21 June. There is also a possibility of heavy rain in entire Bihar on 22 and 23 June. An alert of heavy rain has been issued in West Champaran, Supaul, Purnia and Araria. Head of Meteorological Center Ashish Kumar said that monsoon entered the state on 17 June.
It became active in the entire state in just two days. During the next 48 hours, conditions remain favorable for monsoon activities in entire Bihar. Here, the Meteorological Department advised the farmers that there is a forecast of a drop in maximum and minimum temperatures during the next three days. Land preparation is advised for Kharif maize.

The temperature of Patna was 33.5 degrees, Gaya 31 degrees, Bhagalpur 28 degrees, Purnia 30.4 degrees, Muzaffarpur 32.2 degrees, Darbhanga 33.6 degrees, Supaul 30.6 degrees Celsius. In the last 24 hours, 130.2 mm rain was recorded in Imamganj, 112.6 mm in Dhobi, 94.4 mm in Bodhgaya, 77 mm in Aams, 73 mm in Manpur, 71 mm in Sherghati, 68.8 mm in Gurua, 120 mm in Kauakol, 111 mm in Akbarpur, 88.6 mm in Govindpur.
