Monsoon is active in Bihar due to which it is raining in many districts including Patna. The Meteorological Department has predicted thunderstorms in the next 24 hours. Heavy rain warning has been issued in four districts. In the last 24 hours, the highest rainfall was recorded in Tilauthu of Rohtas.

The southwest monsoon remains active in the state. The weather remains normal due to intermittent rain in different parts including the capital.

According to the Meteorological Center Patna, there is a possibility of scattered rain at some places with thunder in most parts including the capital during the next 24 hours.

Heavy rain warning in these districts

A warning has been issued regarding heavy rain in four districts of the state, Kaimur, Rohtas, Katihar and Kishanganj. There is no possibility of significant change in the maximum temperature during the five days. There is a possibility of heavy rain with the monsoon being kind in different parts of the state till July 8.

During the last 24 hours, rain was recorded in different parts including the capital. The highest rainfall of 48.8 mm was recorded in Tilauthu of Rohtas. 8.3 mm rainfall was recorded in the capital.

On Wednesday, the weather remained normal due to intermittent rain in Patna and surrounding areas. The maximum temperature of the capital was recorded at 34.3 degrees Celsius. Whereas, Gopalganj recorded the highest maximum temperature of the state at 37.0 degrees Celsius.

Rainfall status in major cities

Siswan in Siwan recorded 47.8 mm rainfall, Chenari in Rohtas recorded 42 mm rainfall, Dehri in Rohtas recorded 40.4 mm rainfall, Ahmedabad in Katihar recorded 31.2 mm rainfall, Srinagar in Purnia recorded 31.2 mm rainfall, Fatuha in Patna recorded 28.8 mm rainfall, Sarmera in Nalanda recorded 28.6 mm rainfall, Singheshwar in Madhepura recorded 26.2 mm rainfall.

26.2 mm rainfall was recorded in Raghunathpur of Siwan, 23.8 mm in Kasba of Purnia, 23.2 mm in Imamganj of Gaya, 22.4 mm in Nauhatta of Rohtas, 22.2 mm in Sampatchak of Patna, 21.4 mm in Parapatganj of Supaul, 21.2 mm in Manihari of Katihar, 20 mm in Bhagalpur, 19.7 mm in Indrapuri of Rohtas, 19.4 mm in Brahmapur of Buxar, 17.6 mm in Aurangabad, 17.6 mm in Banka.

Temperature of major cities

The maximum temperature of Patna was 34.3 degree Celsius and minimum was 27.1 degree Celsius. The maximum temperature of Gaya was 34.8 degree Celsius and minimum was 26.6 degree Celsius.

At the same time, the maximum temperature of Bhagalpur was 33.6 degree Celsius and minimum was 26.6 degree Celsius. The maximum temperature of Muzaffarpur was 34.0 degrees Celsius and the minimum was 28.1 degrees Celsius.
