The Law Department of the Government of Bihar has appointed government lawyers in 27 districts of the state. This appointment has been made under the Bihar Law Advisory Rules 2023. Along with this, the contribution of 1708 Nyaya Mitras has also been accepted in 37 districts. This decision has been taken with the aim of strengthening the legal framework of the state.

The Law Department of the Government of Bihar has appointed government lawyers in 27 districts of the state. In this regard, an order has been issued under the signature of Joint Secretary-cum-in-charge Nitish Kumar.

In the light of the recommendation list received under the Bihar Law Advisory (Selection Restoration) Rules, 2023, the government has appointed the selected advocates as government lawyers for a period of three years according to their registration number and district.

These 27 districts include Araria, Aurangabad, Banka, Begusarai, Bhojpur (Ara), Buxar, Darbhanga, Jamui, Kaimur (Bhabua), Kishanganj, Lakhisarai, Madhepura, Madhubani, Munger and other districts.

Except Darbhanga, 1708 Nyaya Mitras contributed in the remaining 37 districts

The contribution of 1708 candidates was accepted on Thursday for the vacant posts of Nyay-Mitra in 37 districts of the state. Their contribution came after the completion of the first phase of counselling. The Panchayati Raj Department has given this information. The second phase of counselling will be announced by the department as soon as possible.

In the first phase, counselling for employment on the vacant posts of Nyay-Mitra in Bihar Gram Kachhari was done in the remaining 37 districts except Darbhanga only. Till 6 pm on Thursday, a total of 1708 candidates were found eligible for employment in the first phase of counselling. The process of counselling is still going on in many districts.

The Sarpanch gave the employment letter to the successful candidates and also accepted their contribution. The candidates of the second phase are requested to keep visiting the official website and social media platform of the department for correct and reliable information.
