Possibility of seat sharing on the formula of Lok Sabha elections

Talking about seat sharing, out of 243 in Bihar, JDU can contest 102-103, BJP- 101-102, LJP Ram Vilas 25-28, HAM- 6-7 and RLM 4-5 seats. It is believed that this could be the formula for seat sharing in NDA. The seat sharing for the assembly elections is likely to be based on the formula of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. In the Lok Sabha elections held last year, BJP contested 17 seats in Bihar, JDU 16, LJP (Ram Vilas) 5, Hindustani Awam Morcha and Rashtriya Lok Morcha contested one seat each.

Sources have informed that the same formula is being discussed in the NDA regarding the assembly elections. Under this formula in the NDA, there is a discussion to decide the share by balancing the small allies and big allies of the alliance in the seat sharing.

Which party contested how many seats in the 2020 elections?

Talking about the 2020 Bihar assembly elections, JDU had 122 seats in its quota. Out of this, JDU had given seven seats to Hindustani Awam Morcha. BJP had 121 seats in its quota.
