HDFC Bank
has issued a statement. To update the system, the Unified Payment Interface (UPI) service will be down for a few hours on February 8, 2025. Due to this, customers will not be able to make online payments. UPI services will not work from 12 midnight to 3 am, but even after that, some technical issues may be experienced for a short time. During this period, customers will not be able to send money to anyone through their UPI app.
According to a report by ‘CNBC Awaaz’, HDFC Bank’s current and savings accounts as well as RuPay credit cards will not be able to make any kind of financial and UPI or online payments. Since the entire system is still under work, a server down message may appear or problems may be experienced. Therefore, it has been appealed to you to withdraw the money in advance.
UPI allows you to send money to any bank account instantly. It has been developed by the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI). UPI allows you to transfer money through a mobile app. UPI payment system allows you to transfer money instantly between two bank accounts through a mobile device using apps like Google Pay, PhonePe or Paytm.
IFS code is not required to send money through UPI. For this, you only need to know the UPI ID. Sending or receiving money through UPI has become very easy. However, as the service will remain down, customers may face difficulties.
