IRCTC Tatkal Ticket News: There is good news for those who make online reservations for train travel. Problems like server hanging while booking Tatkal tickets or payment taking so long that all seats get filled, are going to be solved. IRCTC has made a dual plan to provide relief to the people. Work has already started in this direction.
The main reason for problems like money being deducted while booking tickets online, payment failing or confirmed tickets getting put on waitlist after a long time is the low capacity of the server. That is, the server capacity is less than the number of people trying to book tickets online. Due to this, passengers have to face problems.
the problem will be solved soon
IRCTC is working on increasing the server capacity to solve this problem. Its process has started. After this, passengers’ tickets will be booked online quickly. According to IRCTC, from next year the ticket booking process will not take time. There will be no waiting time after clicking. Its process will start directly and you will have the ticket in a few moments. In this way, the process will start as soon as the seat appears vacant.
Capacity has been done for more than 31 thousand bookings
IRCTC is constantly working to increase the server capacity. Its results are also starting to come out. Now more than 31 thousand tickets are being booked online per minute. Earlier this capacity was very less. That means the process is taking less time.
However, due to non-availability of confirmed tickets, the availability of seats along with the server is also decreasing. The Railway Ministry is also working towards increasing the number of seats. Soon more than 800 crore people will be able to travel by trains annually.
There are more than 9 lakh online tickets
There are 3 crore IRCTC users across the country. Currently, more than 9 lakh tickets are being booked online every day. This includes online bookings by passengers as well as bookings by agents. More than two crore passengers travel by train every day. This number is continuously increasing.
