    Gold Price Today: Gold prices fell by Rs 160 to Rs 99,800 per 10 grams in the national capital’s bullion market on Monday due to continuous selling by jewelers and stockists. This information has been given by the All India Sarafa Association. The price of gold of 99.9 percent purity closed at Rs 99,960 per 10 grams on Friday.

    Gold Price Today Gold of 99.5 percent purity fell by Rs 150 to Rs 99,100 per 10 grams (inclusive of all taxes). At the last market close, it was priced at Rs 99,250 per 10 grams. Silver, however, remained steady at Rs 1,05,200 per kg (inclusive of all taxes) on Monday. On the global front, spot gold fell marginally to $3,365.40 per ounce.

    “Gold prices briefly rose to USD 3,413.80 an ounce on Monday but then eased further as investors awaited Iran’s response to the US involvement in the airstrikes on Tehran,” said Kaynat Chainwala, AVP-Commodity Research, Kotak Securities.

    Chainwala said investors will wait for key economic events including Federal Reserve chief Jerome Powell’s remarks in Congress, US GDP data and core PCE inflation data. According to Riya Singh, Research Analyst – Commodity and Currency, Emkay Global Financial Services, domestic gold prices have increased by four per cent so far in June. However, it is trading at a lower price than global rates due to weak jewellery demand.
