When Boeing planes were constantly crashing, Boeing 737 Max was investigated. The investigation revealed a problem related to the Maneuvering Characteristics Augmentation System (MCAS). This system had reduced the dependence on manual landing, but the pilots were not briefed much about it. The situation was such that 346 passengers and crew members lost their lives in 2018 and 2019. After this accident, the operation of this aircraft was stopped. Later it was updated and brought into operation under the name of Boeing 737-800.
At the same time, Boeing’s 787 Dreamliner is involved in the plane crash in Ahmedabad. There has never been a story of its crash before. The Ahmedabad accident will be revealed after the black box is found.
More than 9000 people died
According to government data before the Ahmedabad attack, Boeing planes have been involved in nearly 6,000 accidents and incidents worldwide, of which 415 were fatal and more than 9,000 people have died.
