Credit Card: The trend of credit cards has increased rapidly in India. Credit cards are now available in digital form as well. Meanwhile, SBI Card and PhonePe have jointly launched a new credit card. The new cards run on RuPay and VISA networks.

The dependence on credit cards in the country is increasing day by day. Now credit cards have also come in digital form. Meanwhile, SBI Card and PhonePe have launched a co-branded credit card to reward customers on everyday expenses.
PhonePe SBI Card is available in two variants. One Select Black and the other Purple. When you spend on things like shopping, bill payment, travel booking, insurance premium or grocery through the PhonePe app with these cards, you will get reward points.
On purchasing SELECT BLACK card, you will get a PhonePe e-voucher of Rs 1,500 and a voucher of Rs 500 on PURPLE card. Customers will get up to 10 percent value back in the form of reward points on spending on PhonePe app using SELECT BLACK card. On the other hand, up to 5 percent reward points will be available on other online shopping.
Will run on both RuPay and VISA networks
According to the news published in CNBCTV 18, the new cards run on RuPay and VISA networks. RuPay card can be linked to UPI, so that customers can make direct payments at millions of UPI merchants. VISA card can be tokenized for safe online use.

You also get rewards on using this card for grocery items, bills, travel booking, insurance premium and other places. If you spend Rs 5 lakh annually with SELECT BLACK card, you will get a travel voucher of Rs 5,000. On the other hand, if you spend Rs 3 lakh annually on PURPLE card, you will get a travel voucher of Rs 3,000. Apart from this, there will be many benefits, which include airport lounge facility, priority pass membership to SELECT BLACK users and 1 percent fuel surcharge waiver on filling petrol. At present, these cards can prove to be better for those who make digital payments daily. Along with this, they also want to earn rewards.
How to apply
If you want to get this credit card, you can apply directly through the PhonePe app. You can also pay the bill there. SBI Card CEO Salila Pandey said that this partnership will promote both credit card usage and digital payment in the country. PhonePe CEO Sameer Nigam believes that this will also help common people get easy credit facility. This card will gradually be made available to all users.
