PM Kisan 20th Installment: The wait for the 20th installment of PM Kisan Yojana is going to end soon. According to sources, the 20th installment of PM Kisan Yojana will come in the accounts of farmers between July 19-20. However, no official announcement has been made about this.
PM Kisan 20th Installment date: The wait for the 20th installment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana has become very long now. Every farmer waiting for this installment since June has only one question in his mind – when will the 2 thousand rupees of PM Kisan Yojana come. Now it seems that their wait is going to end very soon.
Business Standard, citing government sources, said that this installment of PM Kisan Yojana can start getting transferred to the accounts of farmers today i.e. 19 July or tomorrow on 20 July. However, it has not been officially confirmed yet.
Why is there a delay in releasing the installment?
According to government sources, the 20th installment is now in the final processing stage. If everything goes well, then between 19 and 20 July 2025, the amount of ₹ 2,000 will start getting transferred to the bank accounts of farmers. Earlier it was reported that Prime Minister Narendra Modi would release this installment during a big program in Bihar on 18 July. But, this did not happen, and the farmers’ hopes now rest on the next date.
Keep these 6 things in mind to get the installment on time:
The Ministry of Agriculture has said that farmers will have to do some important work to avoid any interruption. Here are those six points.
1. Complete e-KYC
If you have not done e-KYC yet, then immediately go to the PM Kisan portal and complete it. Without this, the money may get stuck.
2. Aadhaar-bank linking
Your Aadhaar should be linked to your bank account. If not, you will not get the money.
3. Check bank details
Check your bank’s IFSC code, account number and other information once again. Transactions may fail due to errors.
4. Correct land records
Correct any land related dispute or error soon, otherwise your name may be removed from the list.
5. Check your name in the beneficiary list
Visit pmkisan.gov.in website and see the list according to your village and panchayat from the ‘Dashboard’ section.
6. Keep mobile number updated
Your mobile number must be active and updated on the portal for OTP, alerts and updates.
How to check if your name is in the list or not?
- Go to pmkisan.gov.in
- Click on ‘Dashboard’ on the right
- Select ‘Village Dashboard’
- Fill state, district, sub-district and panchayat
- Press ‘Show’ and then click on ‘Get Report’
- If you are in the list, your name will appear
What is PM Kisan Yojana?
PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana was started in 2019. Under this, crores of eligible farmers of the country are given assistance of ₹ 6,000 annually. This amount is sent directly to the bank accounts of the farmers in three installments of ₹ 2,000 every four months. The purpose of this scheme is to help farmers in farming expenses and domestic needs.
