Ladli Behna Yojana: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav said over 1.27 crore women beneficiaries of the government’s flagship ‘Ladli Behna’ scheme will get a monthly assistance of Rs 1,500 after Diwali, up from Rs 1,250 at present.
He said a special budget of Rs 27,147 crore has been set aside for women, including Rs 18,699 crore for the Ladli Behna Yojana. Yadav said at the Mahila Empowerment and Adivasi Gaurav Sammelan at Sarai here on Friday that beneficiaries of the Ladli Behna Yojana will get Rs 1,250 and an additional Rs 250 on Raksha Bandhan. The monthly benefit will be increased to Rs 1,500 after Diwali.
The scheme was started in the year 2023
Chief Minister Mohan Yadav also said that 51 lakh girls have benefited from the Ladli Laxmi Yojana, who have received a total assistance of Rs 672 crore. Ladli Bahana Yojana was started on 10 June 2023 by the then Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan. At that time the assistance amount was Rs 1,000, which was gradually increased to Rs 1,250.
The scheme is credited with giving the ruling BJP a landslide victory in the November 2023 assembly elections. Yadav also said that more than 9,000 tribal families have been given land rights under the Forest Rights Act. He promised 33 per cent reservation for women in the upcoming Lok Sabha and assembly elections.

For this, first go to the official website of Ladli Behna Yojana and click on the ‘Application and Payment Status’ option there. Now on the open page, you have to fill your Samagra ID or registration number. Then enter the captcha code and request for OTP. The OTP that will come on your registered mobile number, enter it on the site and verify it. If the amount has been deposited in your bank account, then its confirmation and complete payment information will be clearly visible to you on the screen.
