Ladki Bahin Yojana: Many schemes are being run by the state governments and the central government to improve the economic condition of women. Similarly, the Chief Minister Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana is being run in Maharashtra. Under this scheme, financial assistance of Rs 1500 is provided every month to the eligible female beneficiary. Women and Child Development Minister Aditi Tatkare admitted in a written reply to a question in the Assembly that about 2,289 government employee women have benefited from the Chief Minister Ladki Bahin Yojana. Meanwhile, Tatkare also told in a written reply that the benefits of all these beneficiary women have been stopped. The government has shown the ineligible women the way out of the list. The Maharashtra government has started the Ladki Behen Yojana to provide financial benefits to women in the year 2024. Through this scheme, the government provides an amount of Rs 1500 every month to women.
The Mahayuti government had promised
Before the assembly elections held in November 2024, the Mahayuti government had promised to increase the amount given to Ladli sisters from Rs 1500 to Rs 2100. But even after seven months, this promise has not been fulfilled. The government is being criticized a lot for using the money of the Tribal Development Department and the Social Justice Department for this scheme. People are focused on when the promise of Rs 2100 made during the elections will be fulfilled.
Appeal to women employees to return money
Women government employees have been excluded from the Ladki Behan Yojana. That means women government employees cannot take advantage of this scheme. In the investigation of the state government, 2,289 women employees have taken advantage. In such a situation, the state government has appealed to these women to return the money. The government has warned that if the money is not returned, action will be taken against them. The government is currently expanding the scope of its investigation. The government has expressed apprehension that the number of ineligible women can reach 50,000.
Check if your name is in the list or not
To check your name in Ladki Bahin Yojana, first of all you have to go to the official website of the schemes https://ladakibahin.maharashtra.gov.in/. After this, you have to enter your name, Aadhaar number or mobile number. After this, your status will appear in front of your screen. If your name is registered there, understand that you are still getting benefits. If no information comes in your name, then understand that your name has been deleted.
These conditions have to be followed for the loan
1- The age of the woman getting the loan should be between 21 years and 65 years.
2 – It is necessary to be a citizen of Maharashtra.
3 – The annual family income should not be more than 2.5 lakhs.
4 – Women who have a car or any member of their family is in a government job. They will not get the benefit of this scheme.
5 – This scheme is not applicable to those women who are taking advantage of any other government scheme.
6 – The Mahayuti government has clearly said that women who have taken advantage of other schemes will be ineligible for ‘Larki Bahin Yojana’. Therefore, it is very important to follow all the conditions while applying for a loan.
