
ICICI Bank has revised the service charges for banking services. These include rules related to demand transfer, ATM transactions, cash deposit and debit card.
ICICI Bank Rules Changes: Many financial rules are changing from the first date of next month i.e. 1 July 2025. In this episode, ICICI Bank has also revised the service charge for its banking services. These include rules related to demand draft, ATM transactions, cash deposit and debit card. In such a situation, ICICI Bank customers must know about the new rules before taking advantage of these facilities.
ATM transaction rules
If you live in metro cities like Delhi, Mumbai, then you get the facility of 3 free financial or non-financial transactions every month from non-ICICI Bank ATMs, while in non-metro cities you will get the facility of 5 free transactions. After this limit is over, you will have to pay a charge of Rs 23 for financial transactions and Rs 8.5 for non-financial transactions.
At the same time, on using ICICI Bank’s ATM, one gets the facility of 5 free transactions every month, while from the 6th transaction onwards, a charge of Rs 23 will have to be paid on financial transactions, while non-financial transaction services will be completely free.
Apart from this, if you withdraw money from an ATM in any other country outside India, you will have to pay a charge of Rs 125 per transaction. Apart from this, 3.5 percent currency conversion fee will also be charged, while for non-financial transactions, a charge of Rs 25 will have to be paid. However, these facilities are free for senior citizens.
You will have to pay this much fee for debit card
If we talk about debit card fees, then a regular debit card fee of Rs 300 will have to be paid every year. However, for rural areas this amount is Rs 150 per year. At the same time, a charge of Rs 300 will have to be paid for issuing a new debit card.
New rules for demand draft
Now if you make a demand draft through cash, cheque or transfer payment order, you will have to pay a fee of Rs 2 per Rs 1,000. But, a minimum charge of Rs 50 and a maximum of Rs 15,000 will be levied for each transaction.
Charges increased on IMPS transactions
The fee for transferring money through IMPS will now depend on the amount of the transaction. A charge of Rs 2.50 will be levied on transactions up to Rs 1,000, Rs 5 for transactions between Rs 1,000 and Rs 1 lakh, and Rs 15 for transactions between Rs 1 lakh and Rs 5 lakh.
