Heavy Rain Alert: IMD estimates that heavy to very heavy rains may occur in many states of the country for the next seven days. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert of rain in most states of the country and extremely heavy rains in many areas from July 7 to 13.
IMD estimates that the monsoon will remain fully active during this period. Heavy to very heavy rains may occur with thunderstorms in many states of North East, Northeast, Central and South India.
Heavy Rain Alert: Monsoon is in full swing in many states of the country. Heavy to very heavy rains are occurring in many areas. Heavy rains, land slides and cloudbursts have created havoc in Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh.
In many states of Northeast India, roads have turned into ponds due to excessive rain. Rainwater is entering people’s homes. The situation is the same in North India. Rain is wreaking havoc in many states including Punjab, UP, Odisha, Rajasthan.
The Meteorological Department has predicted that most parts of the country will experience heavy rains this entire week. From July 7 to July 13, very heavy rains may occur in many areas including North India, Northeast India, West, Central and South India. The Meteorological Department has issued red and orange alerts in many states.
The India Meteorological Department has predicted that there may be extremely heavy rains at different places in Himachal Pradesh from July 7 to 13. According to the IMD, there is a possibility of heavy rains in Uttarakhand and eastern Rajasthan during this period.
According to IMD, heavy to very heavy rains may continue at some places in Madhya Pradesh during July 7 to 13. There is a possibility of rain in Jharkhand, Gangetic plains of West Bengal, Odisha, Vidarbha and Chhattisgarh till July 8.
According to the Meteorological Department, during the next 7 days, many areas of North India may witness light to moderate rains along with thunderstorms, lightning and strong winds at the speed of 30 to 40 kmph.
According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of extremely heavy rains at isolated places in the Ghat areas of Madhya Maharashtra on July 7. Apart from this, Konkan and Goa, Ghat areas of Madhya Maharashtra, Gujarat region may receive heavy rains throughout the week.
According to IMD, light to moderate rain may occur at most places in Northeast India during the next 7 days. The Meteorological Department has predicted that thunderstorms, lightning and heavy rains are likely to continue in many areas of Northeast India.
