In the last six days, 83 flights of Air India have been cancelled. Boeing 787 is the most affected among them. Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has given this information. DGCA said on Tuesday that 83 flights of Air India were cancelled between 12 and 17 June. Out of these, 66 flights were of Boeing 787. DGCA said that no major security concern has been found during the monitoring of Air India Boeing 787.
In fact, last week, the crash of Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner in Ahmedabad had raised safety concerns and DGCA had ordered to increase monitoring of Air India’s Boeing 787 fleet. DGCA said in a statement that no major safety concerns were found in the recent monitoring of Air India’s Boeing 787 fleet.

66 flights operated with Boeing 787 cancelled
The aircraft and its related maintenance systems were found to be in compliance with the current safety standards. DGCA said that Air India has cancelled 66 flights operated with Boeing 787 between June 12 and June 17. Air India has 33 aircraft in its Boeing 787-8/9 fleet.
7 Air India flights canceled on June 17
On Tuesday, 7 Air India flights were canceled in a single day. These include Ahmedabad-London, Delhi-Paris, Delhi-Vienna, London-Amritsar, Delhi-Dubai, Bangalore-London and Mumbai to San Francisco flights.
