Under this, the cabinet has approved the target of providing 1 crore jobs in the next five years. The government will give a one-time honorarium of Rs 6000 to the BLOs engaged in voter revision.
Bihar Cabinet Meeting: Nitish Cabinet meeting was held in Patna today. Almost all the ministers of Bihar Government attended this meeting. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has chaired the cabinet meeting. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has approved 30 important proposals in the cabinet meeting held at the old secretariat in Patna. Under this, the cabinet has approved the target of providing 1 crore jobs in the next five years. The government has approved to give a one-time additional honorarium of Rs 6000 to BLOs and supervisors engaged in the special voter revision going on in Bihar.
The government will provide one crore jobs in five years from 2025 to 2030. A high-level committee will be constituted under the chairmanship of the Development Commissioner to advise the government on creation of new jobs and employment. A total of 12 members have been made for this. Apart from this, approval has been given to give Rs 51 crore 68 lakh 40000 to give one-time honorarium of Rs 6000 in addition to annual honorarium to 77895 BLOs and 8245 BLO supervisors for special intensive revision work.

Many other proposals have been approved in the Bihar Cabinet meeting. The Ganga Path Project has been approved in Bhagalpur. A 40.80 km long path will be built between Sultanganj-Bhagalpur-Sabor. 4850 crores have been approved for this. The Ganga Path Project has been approved in Munger. A 42 km long path will be built between Munger-Bariyarpur-Ghorghat-Sultanganj and Rs 5120 crores have been approved for this. Under the Patna Metro Rail Project, approval has been given to give Rs 179.37 crore to Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Limited for the maintenance work of the Priority Corridor for a period of 2 years and 8 months.
After the end of the finance-free education policy, an approval of Rs 3 billion 94 crore 41 lakh 24 thousand has been given in the financial year 2025 – 26 for grant-in-aid to teachers and education sector personnel of subsidized secondary schools and higher secondary schools. Under the Saat Nishchay program, administrative approval of Rs 80 crore has been given for the purchase of machinery, equipment and computers etc. in laboratories in 46 government polytechnic institutes run under the Department of Science and Technology.
An amount of 7832.29 crores has been approved in the cabinet for the expansion, renovation and modernization work of the Western Kosi Canal Project. Bihar Businessman Accident Death Grant Scheme 2025 has been approved. Under this scheme, a grant amount of Rs 500000 will be given to the dependent of the taxpayer in case of accidental death. Approval has been given to give 30% of the basic salary per month as risk allowance to the personnel of the bomb disposal squad, which will be a maximum of 25,000. Approval has been given to give annual salary increment to the officers of Bihar Judicial Service in January and July as per the state employees from January 1, 2016.
